VCT EMEA Stage 2 Play-Ins see Challenger teams upset established organizations
The VCT EMEA Stage 2 Play-Ins have reached a decisive phase, with Challenger teams increasingly challenging established tier-one VALORANT organizations. The tournament is currently determining which four teams will join the directly qualified contenders in the playoffs.
Challenger representatives have caused significant disruptions in the bracket. Enterprise Esports secured an upset victory against FNATIC with a 2-1 score, while Joblife defeated NAVI 2-1. Fire Flux Esports also recorded a 2-1 win against Team Heretics.
Eintracht Frankfurt remains in contention after a 2-0 victory over Gentle Mates in the Lower Bracket, winning maps on Split (13-11) and Haven (13-9). Luka ‘azury’ Zammer led the performance for Frankfurt with 40 kills. Eintracht Frankfurt is scheduled to face Team Heretics, who recently defeated Natus Vincere 2-1, in a high-stakes match where further losses will result in elimination from the direct path to the playoffs.
