Víctor Gómez sets fastest Dominican time at Hyrox Washington D.C

Dominican athlete Víctor Gómez achieved the fastest time for the Dominican Republic at the Amazfit Hyrox Washington D.C. competition. Competing in the Pro Men category, the highest level of the event, Gómez recorded a time of 1 hour, 4 minutes, and 9 seconds.

The competition, held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, follows a standardized format consisting of eight kilometers of running interspersed with eight functional exercise stations. Gómez, the 28-year-old founder and CEO of the gym THE CAVE, utilized the event to evaluate his physical preparation as part of his competitive goals for the 2026 cycle.

Hyrox is a rapidly growing global indoor fitness circuit that allows for international rankings across various categories, including Open, Pro, pairs, and relay teams.
