VDFU holds inaugural summer meeting at Weissenhäuser Strand

The Association of German Leisure Parks and Leisure Companies (VDFU) held its first annual summer meeting at Weissenhäuser Strand. The event brought together approximately 300 participants from leading German leisure and experience facilities, along with their business networks.

The program included the annual general meeting, technical discussions, and excursions designed to facilitate professional exchange and networking. Key highlights featured a mentoring program, a reception for new members, and a keynote address by zeitgeist researcher Kirstine Fratz. Dr. Catrin Homp, Managing Director of the Tourism Association of Schleswig-Holstein, also provided opening remarks.

Additional activities included a panel discussion, a breakfast for the VDFU women's network, and meetings for the VDFU Academy department heads. The event focused on current industry topics and future developments within the leisure sector.
