VdK social association holds regional meetings and information sessions in Germany

The VdK social association is conducting various regional activities in Germany. In Selfkant, the local branch held its annual general meeting, where Chairman Franz Lipperts reported a stable membership of 610 people. During the event, Dieter Wauben received the gold loyalty badge and the highest honor from the VdK state association for 25 years of service.

In Neuenhaßlau, the VdK local branch is organizing an information session for September 24, 2026. The event, led by nursing expert Verena Campbell, will focus on how to obtain a care level (Pflegegrad) and the specific benefits provided by long-term care insurance. The session aims to help citizens prepare for assessments by the Medical Service and discuss planned legislative changes for 2027.
