VDURA launches Sentinel proactive storage support

VDURA has announced the launch of VDURA Sentinel, a proactive support capability integrated into the VDURA Data Platform V12. Designed for high-performance data storage infrastructure used in AI factories and neoclouds, the system continuously monitors for faults and notable events.

Sentinel utilizes a cloud service to analyze health, capacity, and alert telemetry against failure patterns identified from thousands of existing VDURA systems. When a potential issue is detected, the system automatically opens a service request with VDURA support, providing a diagnosis, a recommended action, and, if necessary, initiating a parts dispatch before the customer becomes aware of the fault.

The tool aims to reduce downtime for operators running GPU clusters, where storage faults can lead to idle accelerators and stalled training jobs. Built on an API-first foundation, Sentinel allows customers to maintain fleet-level observability through their own dashboards, ensuring that operators have access to the same telemetry used by the support team.
