Vectorane blower FUBUKI exceeds 10,000% crowdfunding goal

Vectorane Co., Ltd. has announced that its new cordless blower, ‘FUBUKI’, has exceeded 10,000% of its crowdfunding goal on the Makuake platform. Within just one week of its launch on August 8, 2026, the project raised over 10 million yen, reaching approximately 11.35 million yen from 537 supporters as of August 15.

Designed specifically to optimize the car drying process, the FUBUKI blower focuses on ‘wind thickness’ rather than just wind speed. It utilizes a 64mm large-diameter brushless motor and 1200W output to deliver a wide stream of air through a 60mm nozzle. This design aims to blow water droplets off a vehicle surface using area coverage rather than concentrated points, potentially allowing a sedan to be dried in approximately two minutes.

The device weighs 399g (excluding the battery) and is compatible with Makita 18V series batteries. While primarily marketed for car washing to prevent scratches caused by towel drying, the manufacturer notes it can also be used for drying motorcycles, bicycles, cleaning electronics, and outdoor activities.
