Vectra celebrates 35 years of telecommunications growth in Poland

Vectra is celebrating its 35th anniversary, marking its evolution from a small local operation in Gdynia to a major player in the Polish telecommunications market. The company began its operations in the early 1990s in Orłowo, Gdynia, during a period when the Polish television landscape relied on individual antennas and limited channels.

By implementing a model of connecting entire residential blocks and districts to a single receiving network, the company helped transform how media and technology are consumed in Poland. Despite facing economic challenges such as high inflation and equipment shortages in the early 1990s, Vectra utilized a business model focused on the immediate reinvestment of profits to rapidly expand its infrastructure.
