Veda Ega Pratama finishes 11th in Moto3 Japanese Grand Prix

Indonesian rider Veda Ega Pratama finished 11th in the Moto3 Japanese Grand Prix at Motegi Circuit after a challenging weekend. Despite starting from 18th position on the grid following a highside crash during the Q2 qualifying session, the Honda Team Asia rider staged an aggressive comeback during the race.

Pratama managed to climb through the field to secure 11th place, matching the points total of Malaysian rival Hakim Danish at 105 points. While Danish holds a higher standing in the championship due to previous victories, Pratama remains closely competitive in the top ten of the 2026 Moto3 standings.

In the race itself, David Almansa claimed victory, followed by Maximo Quiles in second and Alvaro Carpe in third. Pratama's performance at Motegi serves as a precursor to the upcoming Asian leg of the tour, which includes the Indonesian and Australian Grands Prix.
