Vedanta Aluminium posts record Q1 FY27 results, brokers lift target prices

Vedanta Aluminium Metal Ltd reported its strongest first‑quarter performance for FY27, posting revenue of INR 21,105 crore, EBITDA of INR 10,499 crore and profit after tax of INR 6,597 crore – a 205% year‑on‑year increase. The company announced an interim dividend of INR 8 per share and saw its credit rating upgraded to AA+ (Stable). Production also hit new highs, with aluminium output reaching 632 kt and alumina output rising 41% to 826 kt.

Following the results, several domestic and international brokerages reaffirmed buy recommendations and raised target prices to between INR 520 and INR 600 per share, citing the firm’s capacity expansion, lower production costs and stronger balance‑sheet position as key growth drivers.
