Vedika Pinto gets congratulatory call from Rakesh Roshan after Musafir Cafe debut

Indian actress Vedika Pinto said that Rakesh Roshan called her on the day her romantic‑drama web series Musafir Cafe was released on Netflix, calling the call a "big moment" for her. The series, based on Divya Prakash Dubey’s novel, streams from 24 July and features Pinto as the character Sudha alongside Vikrant Massey and Mahima Makwana.

Pinto also explained that she prefers roles she feels a personal connection with, rejecting the idea of a "safe option" in choosing projects. She highlighted the growing opportunities created by OTT platforms, noting that the increased demand for content has expanded chances for actors across the industry.
