Vedène: Two-month-old infant dies after cardiac arrest

A two-month-old infant died following a cardiac arrest on a roadside in Vedène, a commune in the Vaucluse department east of Avignon. The incident occurred on Sunday, September 13, when a family was traveling by car and was forced to make an emergency stop on Avenue Vidier.

Emergency responders, including approximately ten firefighters, a SMUR medical team, and a Samu 13 helicopter, arrived at the scene to perform resuscitation efforts. Despite these interventions, the infant passed away at the scene. The exact cause of the cardiac arrest has not yet been determined.
