Veeam named a Leader in Gartner’s inaugural Privacy UX Magic Quadrant

Veeam has been named a Leader in Gartner’s inaugural Magic Quadrant for Privacy User Experience (UX). The report recognizes the company’s ability to execute and its completeness of vision regarding privacy governance and compliance.

Veeam’s capabilities focus on operationalizing privacy across the entire data lifecycle, including both production environments and backups. This approach aims to help organizations identify personal data locations, manage access, and apply consistent privacy policies. Key features include the DataAI Privacy tool, which automates policies based on jurisdiction and user, and the People Data Graph, which unifies structured and unstructured data across hybrid and multicloud environments.

The recognition follows Veeam’s December 2025 acquisition of Securiti and the subsequent launch of its DataAI Command Platform. CEO Anand Eswaran stated that privacy must extend across every copy of personal data, including backups, to ensure compliance is demonstrable and recovery is trustworthy.
