Veensche Boys and TOP secure victories in Dutch sports

In Dutch regional sports, Veensche Boys secured a 1-0 victory against Zeewolde to advance to the next round of the cup tournament. Despite a difficult first half described by trainer Stefan Fredriksen as potentially the team’s worst of the season, Julian Buitenhuis scored the decisive goal in the second half following a defensive error by the Zeewolde goalkeeper.

In korfball, TOP maintained an undefeated streak in the Ereklasse with a narrow 16-15 win over Die Haghe. Despite facing significant injury concerns and playing with several under-19 players, TOP overcame a 9-4 halftime deficit, with Frank Mostard scoring the winning goal in the final thirty seconds.

Additionally, the Veensche Boys JO8-2 youth football team achieved a 6-1 victory in a local derby against Sparta Nijkerk 08-3.
