Veer Abdul Hamid honored on martyrdom day

Indian leaders paid tribute to Param Vir Chakra recipient Veer Abdul Hamid on his martyrdom day. Hamid was a hero of the 1965 Indo-Pakistani War, recognized for his extraordinary courage and combat skills.

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla honored Hamid for his ability to destroy enemy tanks and remain steadfast on the front lines under difficult circumstances. Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya also offered condolences, noting that his patriotism and sacrifice for the motherland serve as an inspiration for the nation.
