Vega Baja launches 20-second audiovisual contest

The Vega Baja Economic Development Consortium (CONVEGA) has launched the first edition of the ‘Vega Baja del Segura in 20 Seconds’ audiovisual contest. The initiative invites citizens and visitors to capture the essence of the region in short, vertical videos lasting a maximum of 20 seconds.

Participants are encouraged to showcase various aspects of the area, including landscapes, heritage, gastronomy, traditions, productive sectors, or daily life. The goal is to utilize social media formats to increase the region's digital presence and involve the community in creating a shared narrative of the territory.

A technical jury composed of representatives from CONVEGA, the Escuela de Arte y Superior de Diseño de Orihuela (EASDO), and the Costa Blanca Provincial Tourism Board will evaluate entries based on originality, narrative creativity, technical quality, and connection to the region.

The contest offers two prizes: a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K (or equivalent) for the first place, and a DJI Osmo Action Adventure Combo (or equivalent) for the second. Submissions must be sent through the CONVEGA electronic office by October 19.
