Vega Ioane helps Ravens neutralize Jeffery Simmons in win over Titans

Baltimore Ravens rookie Vega Ioane played a significant role in the team’s 24-18 victory over the Tennessee Titans on October 4. Transitioning from right guard to starting center, Ioane was tasked with neutralizing All-Pro defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons.

During the game, Simmons recorded only one pressure on 32 pass rushes, marking his lowest pressure rate since 2025. Despite the successful defensive containment, Ioane expressed dissatisfaction with his individual performance, noting that he had “a lot of things I have to clean up” following a few late snaps.

The win at M&T Bank Stadium snapped a four-game losing streak for the Ravens. However, the game was marked by injuries, including an ankle injury to quarterback Lamar Jackson.
