Vegas Golden Knights appoint Ryan Craig as head coach

The Vegas Golden Knights have appointed Ryan Craig as their new head coach following the departure of John Tortorella. Craig, who previously served as an assistant and coached the organization’s AHL affiliate in Henderson, is expected to bring a collaborative leadership style to the team. Analysts suggest his deep roots within the organization and experience with younger talent may allow him to integrate fresh players into a roster often characterized by veteran presence.

In addition to the coaching change, the Golden Knights are facing significant roster shifts. Star forward Pavel Dorofeyev has departed the team to sign a seven-year contract worth 11 million per year with the New York Rangers. To address the loss of Dorofeyev’s scoring, the team is looking toward Victor Olofsson to provide offensive depth and stability.
