No injuries were reported in the second crash, while victims of the first were taken to a local hospital.

In Uberlândia, a driver lost control of her vehicle and slammed into a concrete‑supported power pole. The impact shattered the pole, sending live high‑voltage wires onto the car. Firefighters and utility workers quickly cut power and rescued the conscious driver, who was taken to hospital with leg pain and a nose bleed.
