Vehicle accidents reported in Alagoas involving pedestrians and property

In the Farol neighborhood of Maceió, a driver lost control of a BYD vehicle during a parking maneuver on Sunday afternoon. The car struck a woman holding a child on a sidewalk in front of the Porchat Building.

Security footage captured the incident, showing the woman and child falling as the vehicle advanced toward the group. Bystanders assisted in removing the woman from beneath the car and securing the child. The woman sustained only minor injuries, and the child is reported to be in good condition. Emergency services, including SAMU and the Fire Department, were not required, as those involved used insurance to address property damage and vehicle repairs.

In a separate incident in Atalaia, Alagoas, a vehicle crashed into a bank branch, damaging the building's facade and windows. The driver fled the scene immediately following the collision and remains unidentified by local police.
