Vehicle accidents reported in Ramos Arizpe and Tampico

Two separate vehicle accidents were reported in Mexico involving loss of control.

In Ramos Arizpe, a pickup truck overturned on the Monterrey-Saltillo highway near the Aldai cement plant. The driver, 35-year-old Miguel Esquivel Rivera, was traveling from San Pedro toward Saltillo in a convoy when the vehicle veered off the road. While preliminary reports suggest the driver may have fallen asleep, authorities have not confirmed the cause. Rivera sustained a back contusion but remained conscious and did not report serious injuries.

In Tampico, a silver SUV crashed into a spare parts business on the Tampico-Mante highway during the early hours of Sunday. The vehicle struck the facade of the ‘Larleli’ establishment in the Del Bosque neighborhood. Authorities reported only material damage to both the vehicle and the building, with no injuries reported. The vehicle was seized for investigation.
