Vehicle auctions announced in Rio Grande do Sul and Curitiba

Multiple vehicle auctions are being held in Brazil, featuring both functional vehicles and scrap metal.

In Rio Grande do Sul, DetranRS is conducting a virtual auction of 858 items. This includes 243 vehicles suitable for returning to circulation, such as a Hyundai i30 and a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. The remaining 615 items consist of 100 lots of scrap metal, which are restricted to accredited vehicle dismantling centers or specific companies.

In Curitiba, the Municipal Secretariat of Social Defense and Traffic (SMDT) is hosting an online auction for 30 seized vehicles. The auction includes cars and motorcycles, with starting bids as low as R$ 800 for a Volkswagen Gol and R$ 5,000 for a Toyota Corolla. The lots are categorized into vehicles fit for circulation, usable scrap, and scrap with unusable engines. The event is being operated by VIP Leilões.
