In La Plata, Argentina, a violent collision between a motorcycle and a van occurred at the intersection of Camino Centenario and street 501, just metres from Gonnet train station. The impact injured a young rider and led to a significant traffic jam in the area.

In Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, a distracted driver of a Ford Fusion rear‑ended a Nissan Altima at the crossroads of César López de Lara Avenue and Anáhuac Street. The force of the crash projected the Nissan several metres forward, stopping near a bus station. No severe injuries were reported, but both vehicles sustained substantial damage and emergency services responded to the scene.
