Vehicle crash on Argentina's Autovía 14 injures couple from Concepción del Uruguay

A Volkswagen Polo driven by a 48‑year‑old man from Concepción del Uruguay left the road and rolled over on the north‑south lane of Autovía Nacional 14 near kilometer 1, close to Ceibas, early Wednesday morning. Both occupants – the driver and his 47‑year‑old companion – suffered multiple injuries and were first treated at the local hospital in Ceibas before being transferred to the Hospital Centenario in Gualeguaychú for further care. Emergency services, including volunteer firefighters, police, and road‑authority crews, secured the scene, removed the overturned vehicle and cleared the lane.

The accident caused temporary traffic disruption, but no fatalities were reported.
