Vehicle fires reported in Messina and Rende

Two separate vehicle fires have been reported in Italy. In Messina, a car caught fire at the intersection of Viale Europa and Via La Farina, causing significant traffic disruptions. Firefighters arrived to extinguish the flames and secure the area, while municipal police closed the intersection and diverted traffic, affecting public transportation.

In Rende, a vehicle caught fire in the parking lot of the Metropolis shopping center. Firefighters from the Rende detachment responded to the scene and prevented the flames from spreading to nearby vehicles or the building. Authorities are investigating the cause, with spontaneous combustion being a primary hypothesis.
