Vehicle rollover reported on Mexico 15 highway in Ahome

A vehicle rollover occurred on the Mexico 15 highway near Poblado 5 in Ahome, Sinaloa, on the morning of Sunday, September 6, 2026. Authorities reported that a driver lost control of a truck, causing it to cross the ditch and flip into the opposite lane.

Paramedics from the Municipal Medical Emergency Service of Ahome (Summa) and local residents assisted in extracting the driver from the vehicle. Although the driver sustained injuries, they were not classified as serious, and the individual declined medical transport to a health institution. The National Guard arrived to manage traffic and conduct investigations, after which the vehicle was towed to a federal impound lot in El Carrizo.
