Vehicle theft and tampering incidents captured on video

Recent incidents involving vehicle tampering and theft have been captured on video in different regions.

In Venezuela, a man was filmed stealing a vehicle battery on Cruz Paredes Avenue in broad daylight. The individual reportedly opened the hood of a parked truck and removed the battery in seconds near a Banesco branch. Witnesses noted that the suspect continued his actions even as citizens shouted at him.

In Spain, food content creator Sezar Blue shared footage from his Tesla’s ‘Sentry Mode’ showing an individual attempting to open his car doors. The footage shows the person inspecting the vehicle before fleeing once they noticed the on-screen notification indicating they were being recorded by the car's security system.
