Vehicle transfer system failures reported in Córdoba

Automotive agents and managers in Córdoba, Argentina, are reporting significant technical failures in the systems required for vehicle transfers. For over a week, users have faced difficulties generating sworn statements for the stamp tax (impuesto de Sellos) and downloading essential forms, such as the F2000 and F1010.

These system errors have led to complications including duplicate payments for the same tax, causing legal and financial risks for users. The issues have also impacted car dealerships and financial institutions, creating pressure to expedite stalled procedures. While tax authorities (Rentas) claim the system is functioning correctly, agents report that the persistent downtime necessitates in-person complaints and long wait times.

Some experts suggest the current difficulties stem from a policy shift made two years ago when the national government terminated agreements with provinces and municipalities. This ended the ‘single window’ system that previously allowed vehicle registries to collect various taxes and fines simultaneously, decentralizing the process and creating the current administrative complexity.
