Veikkaus partners with Gaming Corps ahead of Finnish market liberalization

Veikkaus has entered into a content partnership with Swedish developer Gaming Corps to supply slot games. This agreement serves as part of the state-owned operator's preparations for July 1, 2027, when Finland is scheduled to open its online casino and betting market to licensed competition.

The initial rollout will focus on slots, including the ‘3 Pigs’ franchise, with the potential to expand into table games, plinko, and multiplier games in the future. While Veikkaus currently holds exclusivity in the online betting sector, it will lose this status once the new regulatory system is implemented. The company currently serves approximately 2.7 million registered customers.
