Veinticinco Council moves to implement Emergency Medical Technician regulations

The Deliberative Council of Veinticinco has unanimously approved a resolution to urge the Executive branch to implement Ordinance No. 3539/2024. This ordinance adheres to Provincial Law No. 15.094 regarding the professional practice of Emergency Medical Technicians (TEM).

The move follows a shared diagnosis among local officials regarding a critical shortage of medical professionals available to cover shifts and mobile units. During the session, council members from various political blocs proposed strengthening the initiative through coordination with the Ministry of Health and educational institutions to create local training spaces for the profession.
