Veitsbronn, Germany: Two shipping containers blaze, damaging 200 tires and causing €150,000 loss

On the evening of 10 July 2026, a fire broke out at a workshop site on the Reitweg in Veitsbronn, Bavaria. Two shipping containers, each packed with automobile tires, were fully engulfed in flame. The fire services quickly extinguished the blaze and prevented it from spreading to nearby structures.

The incident damaged at least 200 tires and a parked car, with the material loss estimated at a minimum of €150,000. The Fürth criminal police have opened an investigation into the cause of the fire and are requesting witnesses to contact them at 0911 2112‑3333.
