Veja and Arpenteur launch collaboration sneaker without side logo
French footwear brand Veja is releasing a new collaboration sneaker with Lyon-based brand Arpenteur. This partnership marks a significant departure for Veja, as the resulting Panenka model will be the brand’s first sneaker to omit its iconic “V” logo from the side panel.
The design focuses on minimalist aesthetics and material quality. The all-black sneaker features a padded upper made of organic traced leather, contrasting suede panels, and visible stitching. Sustainability remains a core component, utilizing bio-based EVA made from sugarcane, Amazonian rubber, mineral silica, recycled polyester, and cotton.
While the side logo is removed, branding is maintained through the shoe’s tongue, the back of the shoe, and a leather tag on the laces featuring both brands' logos. The collaboration is the result of a decade-long relationship between the two companies. The shoes are scheduled for release on September 3.
