Vejer de la Frontera announces autumn cultural and gastronomic agenda

Vejer de la Frontera, recognized as one of the most beautiful towns in Spain, has announced its cultural and gastronomic programming for the autumn season through November 2026.

A central highlight is the ninth edition of the International Day of Lomo en Manteca, scheduled for October 11. Supported by the Diputación de Cádiz, the event involves nearly all local butcher shops, including the well-known Venta Pinto. The celebration will feature a traditional breakfast with zurrapao, local producer exhibitions at the Murallas de la Segur, and musical performances throughout the historic district.

Other scheduled activities for October and November include the Gastro Music Festival, the Ciudad de Vejer award ceremony, the Semana de las Hazas de Suerte, and various performing arts, workshops, and film screenings at the Teatro Municipal San Francisco and local community centers.
