Vejle man loses license and car after high-level intoxication stop

A 37-year-old man had his driver's license and vehicle seized by police on Ribe Landevej in Vejle following a high-level intoxication stop.

After being asked to perform a breathalyzer test, the man's blood alcohol content exceeded the 2.0 threshold, leading to charges of reckless driving. According to Rune Nielsen, the duty officer for South East Jutland Police, the legal consequences for the offense include an unconditional revocation of his driver's license for at least three years, a fine equivalent to one month's net salary, and a 20-day conditional prison sentence.
