Vektra Boka workers demand urgent Privatization Council session

The Association of Vektra Boka Workers is calling for an emergency meeting of the Privatization Council to address the unresolved social program for former employees of HTP Boka. The association claims that the sale of assets related to the Hotel Plaža in Herceg Novi was conducted improperly, alleging that the property was sold for a price more than 30 percent lower than its value.

Workers have raised several legal and procedural concerns, including the failure to address requests for the recusal of the public bailiff, Jasminka Bajović, which were submitted weeks and hours before the auction. They also dispute the property valuation, noting that only an economic expert was engaged rather than construction and geodetic experts. Furthermore, the association points to real estate records suggesting that while the state of Montenegro is the owner, HTP Vektra Boka holds full usage rights, questioning the legality of the execution process.

The association proposes that the social program, which affects approximately 200 families, should be funded through the assets of HTP Boka/Vektra Boka rather than the state budget. They have called on Prime Minister Milojko Spajić to personally intervene in the matter.
