Velas Resorts rolls out wellness wedding program and urban photography tour in Mexico

Velas Resorts announced a three‑day wellness‑focused wedding experience for couples and guests at its Mexican properties, including locations in Riviera Maya, Riviera Nayarit, Puerto Vallarta and Los Cabos. The itinerary features cold‑water immersion, guided breathing, mindfulness meditation, Mexican copal blessings and restorative spa treatments intended to reduce travel fatigue and promote wellbeing throughout the wedding weekend.

Separately, the brand's adults‑only Casa Velas hotel in Puerto Vallarta launched a “Hidden Puerto Vallarta Photography Tour.” The half‑day excursion takes small groups, led by a local professional photographer, to historic streets, markets, murals and the Los Muertos pier, allowing guests to capture immersive images of the city beyond the resort grounds. The tour includes private transportation and costs $1,300 for up to eight participants.
