Velat Ceylan purchases luxury V8 vehicle despite minimum wage income

Velat Ceylan, a 33-year-old worker living in Eskişehir, has fulfilled a 12-year dream by purchasing a luxury vehicle with a 5.7-liter V8 HEMI engine. While the car is valued between 8 and 9 million lira in the Turkish market, Ceylan reportedly acquired it from Iraq for approximately 850,000 lira.

Ceylan, who earns a monthly salary of 30,000 lira and has no other sources of income, stated that he makes significant personal sacrifices to maintain the vehicle. To manage the costs of daily use and maintenance, he lives with friends rather than renting his own home and reduces his food expenses.

Despite being mistaken for a wealthy individual or contractor by onlookers, Ceylan emphasizes that he manages the vehicle's upkeep through careful budgeting and personal effort. He expressed that he has no intention of selling the car.
