Velika Gorica completes new bicycle path by Lake Čiče

Velika Gorica has completed a new pedestrian and bicycle path along Lake Čiče. The nearly 900-meter paved route extends from the beginning of Sisačka Street near the shopping center to the popular ‘Čič-beach’ area.

To improve safety and accessibility, the project includes the installation of 33 streetlights, allowing for use during evening hours. Future plans for the area include the addition of benches and waste bins. Mayor Krešimir Ačkar stated that the project is part of a broader effort to connect the city with surrounding settlements and recreational sites through improved cycling infrastructure.
