Velika Ludina opens new EU‑funded sports hall and hostel

The municipality of Velika Ludina in central Croatia has completed two major facilities – a 500‑seat sports hall and a 40‑bed hostel – under a €6.78 million project co‑financed by the EU Recovery and Resilience Plan. The hall is certified to host top‑level national and international sporting events, while the hostel will accommodate athletes, event participants and tourists, linking sport with tourism. Municipal mayor Dražen Pavlović, Sisak‑Moslavina County head Ivan Celjak and state secretary for tourism and sport Monika Udovičić attended the inauguration, emphasizing the boost to local quality of life and regional development.
