Veliko Tarnovo hosts 21st International Cultural Tourism Exhibition

The 21st International Cultural Tourism Exhibition is being held in Veliko Tarnovo from October 7 to 9. The three-day event features over 40 exhibitors, including municipalities, cultural institutions, museums, tour operators, and international partners from countries such as China, Azerbaijan, and Serbia.

The forum includes professional sessions, such as a discussion on China-Bulgaria tourism and a seminar on tourism amid global changes organized by the Ministry of Tourism. The program also focuses on workforce training and adapting education to the needs of the tourism industry.

A major component of the exhibition is the ‘Local Bites – Taste of the Regions’ culinary competition. This event showcases authentic Bulgarian regional foods, drinks, and traditions, featuring participants from various municipalities and community centers. The competition highlights local products and recipes as essential elements of regional identity and tourism appeal.
