Veliko Tarnovo hosts Move and Win autumn campaign

Approximately 300 participants, including children, youth, and adults, took part in the autumn edition of the ‘Move and Win’ campaign in Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria. Held from October 3 to October 17, the initiative featured three hiking routes: from Veliko Tarnovo to Xsilifor Park, from Malak Chiflik to Xsilifor Hut, and to Arbanasi.

Youth aged 4 to 19 were the most active group, representing 61% of total participants. The event also included health education sessions focused on preventing smoking, alcohol consumption, and unhealthy eating. During the campaign, blood pressure was measured for 112 participants, with 18% recording elevated levels.

Winners were selected via electronic draw. Aleyna Erdogan (ages 4–19), Liliya Tsankova (ages 20–59), and Ginka Teneva (ages 60+) each received 20 euro vouchers for sports and hiking equipment. Stanchо and Nedka Rusev won the special family prize. The 85-year-old Rosinka Stoykova was recognized as the oldest participant.
