Veliko Tarnovo hosts state military football and tennis championships

Veliko Tarnovo hosted three state military championships from September 9 to 11, featuring football for men, futsal for women, and tennis. The events brought together service members and cadets from various branches of the Bulgarian Armed Forces.

In the men's football championship, hosted by the Vasil Levski National Military University, the Military Sports Club ‘Stryamtsi 61’ from Karlovo took first place. The runner-up was ‘Translogistik’ from Burgas, followed by ‘Trakietz-2007’ from Stara Zagora and ‘Botev’ from Pleven. Individual honors included Ahmed Syunetchiev as top scorer and Georgi Hristov as best goalkeeper.

The women's futsal competition was won by the Vasil Levski National Military University team, with ‘Translogistik’ finishing second.

In the tennis championships, Nadezhda Kostova from the ‘N. Vaptsarov’ Military Academy won the women's individual title. In the men's individual competition, Hristiyan Borimechkov of ‘Stryamtsi 61’ secured first place, while ‘Translogistik’ won the men's team classification.
