Veliko Tarnovo to host International Cultural Tourism Exhibition 2026

The 21st edition of the International Cultural Tourism Exhibition is scheduled to take place from October 7 to 9, 2026, at the Veliko Tarnovo Business Center. Supported by the Bulgarian Ministry of Tourism, the event serves as a specialized forum for municipalities, state and cultural institutions, and tourism professionals from Bulgaria and abroad.

The program includes a professional conference featuring discussions on tourism amidst global changes and the alignment of tourism education with industry needs. Other scheduled activities include the Annual Meeting of Tourist Information Centers, the National Student Competition ‘Read and Travel’, and various thematic exhibitions such as the ‘Iglika Carpet Fest 2025’.

Cultural and culinary elements will also be featured, including the ‘Trapezitsa Fest’ showcasing local producers and the ‘Local Bites’ culinary competition, which highlights Bulgarian gastronomic traditions.
