Velletri gym targeted in suspected arson attack

An arson attack struck the Dopolavoro Ferroviario popular gym, known as Demon Gym 2.0 Suprema, in Velletri during the night. Management has reported the fire as an intentional act, noting that the facility has previously faced challenges including social media threats and defamatory phone calls.

The gym is currently under seizure to allow police to conduct investigations. While the structure sustained damage, managers stated the harm is recoverable and expressed a strong desire to resume operations as soon as possible. The facility serves as a vital community hub, hosting after-school programs, Arci club activities, and collaborations with local schools, mental health centers, and the juvenile court.

A solidarity rally and press conference were organized to support the facility and its mission of providing social and sporting services to the community.
