VeloBank expands in Poland with new Krakow branch and Warsaw luxury apartment financing

VeloBank opened its fifth branch in Kraków at ul. Wadowicka 6/13a, operating Monday‑Friday 9:00‑16:00. The office offers standard banking services, including the VeloKonto account, deposits and cash loans up to 300 000 zł with an 8.1 % APR. Janusz Kagan, VeloBank’s regional director, said, “Kraków is an important centre for us; we invest in the local network to be closer to our customers.”

In Warsaw, VeloBank provided 140 million zł financing to Monting Development for the luxury residential project Chłodna 35. The development will contain 54 high‑end apartments and premium common‑area finishes. Piotr Sztembartt, director of the bank’s developer‑financing department, stated that the loan “fits VeloBank’s strategy of supporting sizable housing investments.” The project is presented as a flagship for Poland’s upscale real‑estate market.
