Veltins-Arena parking fees to increase for Schalke 04 fans

FC Schalke 04 is increasing parking fees at the Veltins-Arena, effective starting with the anniversary match against Real Madrid on Sunday, August 16. Fees for parking areas B through E will rise to ten euros per vehicle, up from the previous rate of five euros.

The price adjustment is attributed to rising costs for maintenance, traffic safety, cleaning, and security services. To mitigate the impact on fans, free parking remains available on public surfaces for those who arrive more than two hours before kickoff.

Fans can monitor parking availability in real-time via a digital occupancy tracker on the Veltins-Arena website, which updates every five minutes using a color-coded system to indicate capacity levels.
