Veluwse TrailRun 2026 attracts runners to Ermelo

The Veluwse TrailRun 2026, organized by Stichting Veluwe Sportief, took place in Ermelo with participants from the Netherlands and abroad. The event featured the new Broekhuis Highland Marathon Trail, which saw over 350 marathon runners start from Raadhuisplein.

In addition to the marathon, the event offered distances of 10, 15, 22, and 30 kilometers, as well as a 60-kilometer team-based Battle Trail. This year, the organization partnered with the Duchenne Parent Project to support research into Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
