VELUX launches Walk-On Skylight for residential daylighting

VELUX Australia & New Zealand has launched the Walk-On Skylight, a new daylighting solution designed to bring natural light deeper into residential projects. The product features a trafficable glass floor system that allows daylight to pass through the upper floor and into lower-level spaces that may have limited access to external windows.

Designed as part of the ‘Daylight Waterfall’ concept, the Walk-On Skylight provides a standardized alternative to bespoke, custom-engineered trafficable glazing. This aims to simplify the specification and budgeting process for architects, builders, and installers working on increasingly complex residential designs.
