Venado Tuerto to host provincial cooperative youth meeting

The fourth provincial meeting of ‘Juventudes Cooperativistas’ (Cooperative Youth) is scheduled to take place on Friday, September 4, in Venado Tuerto, Argentina. Organized by the local Directorate of Youth, the Santa Fe Ministry of Education, and the Federación Santafesina de Cooperativas Eléctricas (Fescoe), the event is part of the ‘Juventudes en Acción’ program.

Hosted at the Sociedad Rural’s Marcos Ciani hall, the event aims to promote cooperative values among young people, strengthen youth networks, and encourage the creation of school-based cooperatives. The program includes panels on topics such as cooperative principles, inclusive school experiences, telecommunications, technological cooperativism, artificial intelligence, mental health, and successful youth-led cooperative models.

Jonatan Martínez, the municipal director of Youth, stated that the goal is for young people to find professional growth and development opportunities through the cooperative model. The event will also feature a workshop for teachers and the signing of an institutional agreement.
