Venados de Mazatlán prepares for new season and charity match

The Venados de Mazatlán baseball team is preparing for the 2026-2027 Liga Mexicana del Pacífico season with training sessions at Estadio Teodoro Mariscal. Catcher Ricardo Valenzuela has rejoined the organization, noting that he has implemented significant adjustments to his batting mechanics and pitch selection to improve his offensive performance.

In addition to season preparations, the team will participate in a charity game at Club Deportivo Muralla on October 3. The match against the SUTERM-Muralla Selection aims to raise support for Delia Castro Quiñónez in her battle against cancer. Sports manager Jesús ‘Chino’ Valdez emphasized that the event focuses on community solidarity and strengthening the bond between the players and the fans.
