Vendas Novas launches Passagens cultural festival

Vendas Novas has launched the Passagens cultural festival, which is scheduled to run from October 2026 through June 2027. The festival, organized by the Municipality of Vendas Novas in partnership with the Lar Doce Ler Association, operates under the theme “Onde se passa, fica”.

The festival includes a musical and conversational event titled “Passagens Musicais,” featuring artists Tiago Bettencourt and Luísa Sobral. This session, moderated by David Lopes, is designed to connect the audience with the creative journeys and influences of the performers. Other festival components include interviews with residents, such as Marie and Franck Chopin, who have established roots in the municipality.
